Vladimir Vladimirov, Executive Director of PROPHON, was a guest on the program “The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov” on Bulgarian National Television (BNT).

During the interview, Mr. Vladimirov emphasized that PROPHON, as an organization managing the licensing of performers’ and producers’ rights, plays a crucial role in Bulgaria's music industry. Through its activities, PROPHON ensures revenue streams that support creative endeavors and the production of new musical works.

He outlined PROPHON’s key priorities:

Raising public awareness about the value of intellectual property, emphasizing that music, as a creative product, must be paid for to ensure fair remuneration for artists.
Increasing the number of licensed music users in Bulgaria, thereby expanding the legal use of music across various sectors.
Improving the legislative framework governing the music industry to create a more satisfying environment for artists—both performers and producers.
Mr. Vladimirov highlighted the importance of these initiatives in fostering a sustainable and thriving music ecosystem in Bulgaria.
